Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francesca Pasquali could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Yellow Straws changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,997.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesca Pasquali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White Straws in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,946.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesca Pasquali konnte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Yellow Straws für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.997,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesca Pasquali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White Straws im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 40.946,69).
