A top price for Frances Macdonald MacNair - as previously expected
The work The Sleeping Princess by Frances Macdonald MacNair was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2005. The price achieved of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,816.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Sleeping Princess is the most expensive artwork by Frances Macdonald MacNair that we have observed at auctions so far.
