Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction British Art on Paper Including 'The Blue Rigi' by J.M.W. Turner, R.A., which included the work Bows, Beads And Birds by Frances Macdonald MacNair. The price achieved of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 95,500.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Frances Macdonald MacNair have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work The Sleeping Princess was auctioned for GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,816.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British Art on Paper Including 'The Blue Rigi' by J.M.W. Turner, R.A. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bows, Beads And Birds von Frances Macdonald MacNair zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 66.000,00 (€ 95.500,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Frances Macdonald MacNair konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2005 die Arbeit The Sleeping Princess für GBP 66.000,00 (€ 97.816,17) versteigert.
