Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2012 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Collection Mis, Art Moderne et Contemporain, which included the work Costume Per Verzocchi (Vestito Futurista) by Fortunato Depero. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fortunato Depero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ballerina in November last year with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Collection Mis, Art Moderne et Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Costume Per Verzocchi (Vestito Futurista) von Fortunato Depero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fortunato Depero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ballerina im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
