It achieved a price of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fortunato Depero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ballerina in November last year with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.

Die Arbeit Battaglia di automi (Studio per 'Ingranaggi di Guerra') von Fortunato Depero kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fortunato Depero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ballerina im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
