This price was achieved in the auction The Now Evening Auction at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 200,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Flora Yukhnovich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild sold at auction in March last year with the realized price of GBP 2,697,000.00 (€ 3,197,597.04).
