Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,059.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Flavio Garciandia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Segundo viaje de Marco Polo, which sold at auction in October this year for USD 37,800.00 (€ 35,768.36).
