Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Stop At The Bolsena Lake by Filippo Palizzi was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April 2019, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 6,875.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Filippo Palizzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian noah'S Ark in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 298,000.00 (€ 331,998.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Stop At The Bolsena Lake von Filippo Palizzi im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Filippo Palizzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian noah'S Ark im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 298.000,00 (€ 331.998,43).
