Despite a disappointment, a good price for Filippo Palizzi
This work of art by Filippo Palizzi could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Italian noah'S Ark changed hands for GBP 298,000.00 (€ 331,998.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Italian noah'S Ark is the most expensive artwork by Filippo Palizzi that we have observed at auction so far.
