Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Noah'S Ark by Filippo Palizzi was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 225,000.00 (€ 202,830.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Filippo Palizzi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2018 the work Italian noah'S Ark was auctioned for GBP 298,000.00 (€ 331,998.43).

Die Arbeit Noah'S Ark von Filippo Palizzi wurde im Januar 2020 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
