Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work III Casa de Venus by Fernando de Szyszlo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,754.80). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernando de Szyszlo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paclla Pampa (Campo Desolado), which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 126,947.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit III Casa de Venus von Fernando de Szyszlo kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.754,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fernando de Szyszlo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paclla Pampa (Campo Desolado) beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 182.500,00 (€ 126.947,69) versteigert wurde.
