Die Arbeit Trabajo en el campo (Working in the Field) von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 63.714,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maiden With Fruits, 1930 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.975.625,00 (€ 564.565,93).
