Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work The Garden Party by Ferdinand Heilbuth. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,784.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Heilbuth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Faraway Thoughts, which sold at auction in April 2002 for USD 39,435.00 (€ 43,806.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Garden Party von Ferdinand Heilbuth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.784,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Heilbuth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Faraway Thoughts beobachtet, die im April 2002 für USD 39.435,00 (€ 43.806,93) versteigert wurde.
