Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Sweet Peas by Feodor Zakharov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2015. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,743.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feodor Zakharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Football, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 36,500.00 (€ 51,109.44).

Die Arbeit Still Life With Sweet Peas von Feodor Zakharov wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.743,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Feodor Zakharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Football beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 36.500,00 (€ 51.109,44) versteigert wurde.
