Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Playing Music by Feng Zhonglian. It changed hands for a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,555.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Zhonglian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Old Masters, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 121,125.00 (€ 13,157.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playing Music von Feng Zhonglian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.555,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhonglian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 121.125,00 (€ 13.157,32) versteigert wurde.
