The work Goddess Of The Moon by Feng Zhonglian was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,913.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Feng Zhonglian; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape After Old Masters sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of HKD 121,125.00 (€ 13,157.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Goddess Of The Moon von Feng Zhonglian kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.913,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Feng Zhonglian; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape After Old Masters im Juni 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 121.125,00 (€ 13.157,32).
