This artwork by Feng Zhonglian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape After Old Masters sold for HKD 121,125.00 (€ 13,157.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. This high result makes Landscape After Old Masters the most expensive artwork by Feng Zhonglian that we have observed at auctions so far.
