Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chinese Portrait Series by Feng Zhengjie was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,280.21) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Zhengjie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,887,500.00 (€ 237,966.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series von Feng Zhengjie kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.280,21) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Zhengjie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Portrait Series, No.08 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.887.500,00 (€ 237.966,50).
