The work Five-Character Couplet In Clerical Script by Feng Yuxiang was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 188,800.00 (€ 22,056.87), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Yuxiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy in Clerical Script, which sold at auction in November 2018 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,379.58).

Die Arbeit Five-Character Couplet In Clerical Script von Feng Yuxiang wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 22.056,87) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Yuxiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script beobachtet, die im November 2018 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.379,58) versteigert wurde.
