Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Feng Yuxiang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,831.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Feng Yuxiang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in Clerical Script in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,379.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Feng Yuxiang wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.831,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Yuxiang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.379,58).
