Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Yiyin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. In the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,299.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Yiyin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Album Of Figures, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,629.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Yiyin erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Figures für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.299,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Yiyin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Album Of Figures beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.629,58) versteigert wurde.
