Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script by Feng Yiyin for HKD 9,450.00 (€ 1,111.61). This price was achieved in the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Feng Yiyin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album Of Figures in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,629.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script von Feng Yiyin für HKD 9.450,00 (€ 1.111,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Yiyin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album Of Figures im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.629,58).
