This artwork by Feng Xiao-Min achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Composition 20-01-15 sold for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 171,447.78) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Feng Xiao-Min; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot N° 08.05.15 sold at auction in May last year with the realized price of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 239,342.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Xiao-Min erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Composition 20-01-15 für HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 171.447,78) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Feng Xiao-Min; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit N° 08.05.15 im Mai letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 239.342,47).
