Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Xiao-Min achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2018. In the Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour auction, the work Composition N°01-08-03 sold for EUR 37,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Feng Xiao-Min have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work N° 08.05.15 in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 239,342.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Xiao-Min erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour wurde die Arbeit Composition N°01-08-03 für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Xiao-Min auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit N° 08.05.15 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 239.342,47).
