The work Looking Afar by Feng Dazhong was worth HKD 4,750,000.00 (€ 528,151.86) to a buyer in November 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Feng Dazhong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tiger in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,700,000.00 (€ 2,757,228.26).
Kunstwerk zum Sechsfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Looking Afar von Feng Dazhong war einem Käufer im November 2021 HKD 4.750.000,00 (€ 528.151,86) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Dazhong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tiger im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.700.000,00 (€ 2.757.228,26).
