In November 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Bamboo and Rock by Feng Dazhong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,950.37), 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Feng Dazhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiger in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,700,000.00 (€ 2,757,228.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bamboo and Rock von Feng Dazhong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.950,37) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Feng Dazhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiger im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.700.000,00 (€ 2.757.228,26).
