In July 2003 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings, which included the work Golden Wish by Feng Changjiang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 191,200.00 (€ 19,912.14), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Changjiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival in Bali, which sold at auction in December 2008 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 40,547.09).

Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden Wish von Feng Changjiang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 191.200,00 (€ 19.912,14) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Changjiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival in Bali beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 40.547,09) versteigert wurde.
