Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings, which included the work Mégalithes En Bretagne by Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville. The price achieved of EUR 1,320.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Chasse in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 41,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mégalithes En Bretagne von Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.320,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Chasse im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.280,00.
