Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hometime by Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,917.95) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Chasse in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 41,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hometime von Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.917,95) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Chasse im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.280,00.
