Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding time by Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 822.50 (€ 1,201.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Chasse in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 41,280.00.

Die Arbeit Feeding time von Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 822,50 (€ 1.201,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix-Saturnin Brissot de Warville erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Chasse im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 41.280,00.
