Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Pictures, which included the work I Faraglioni; A Capri Fishing Village; And A Capri Balcony by Felice Giordano. The price achieved of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,922.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Felice Giordano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Capri, notturno a Marina Piccola in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 8,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Faraglioni; A Capri Fishing Village; And A Capri Balcony von Felice Giordano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.922,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felice Giordano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Capri, notturno a Marina Piccola im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.680,00.
