Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Capri, Marina Grande by Felice Giordano for EUR 1,488.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century Pictures at Christies in Rome and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Felice Giordano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Capri, notturno a Marina Piccola in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 8,680.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Capri, Marina Grande von Felice Giordano für EUR 1.488,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century Pictures bei Christies in Rom erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felice Giordano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Capri, notturno a Marina Piccola im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.680,00.
