Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Christies in Paris held the auction Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection, which included the work Uva e pere by Felice Carena. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,930.00 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Felice Carena - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La cena di Emmaus, which sold at auction in December 2019 for EUR 26,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Centuries of Beauty - A Refined Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uva e pere von Felice Carena zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.930,00 und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Felice Carena mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La cena di Emmaus beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für EUR 26.000,00 versteigert wurde.
