Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Due nudi by Felice Carena was auctioned at Christies in Milan in May 2002. The price achieved of EUR 5,580.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,500.00 – 6,500.00. Admittedly, works by Felice Carena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La cena di Emmaus in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.

Die Arbeit Due nudi von Felice Carena kam im Mai 2002 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.580,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.500,00 – 6.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felice Carena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La cena di Emmaus im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
