This artwork by Fei Xinwo achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Poem In Running Script sold for HKD 26,400.00 (€ 3,383.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fei Xinwo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,399.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fei Xinwo erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Poem In Running Script für HKD 26.400,00 (€ 3.383,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fei Xinwo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.399,03) versteigert wurde.
