Auction result misses estimated price range
In August last year a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Fei Xinwo for HKD 3,825.00 (€ 484.16). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale at Bonhams in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fei Xinwo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,399.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Fei Xinwo für HKD 3.825,00 (€ 484,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fei Xinwo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.399,03).
