Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Cursive Script by Fei Xinwo was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,486.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fei Xinwo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in September 2015 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,399.03).

Die Arbeit Poem In Cursive Script von Fei Xinwo wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.486,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fei Xinwo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im September 2015 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.399,03) versteigert wurde.
