Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Poems On Plum Blossoms by Fei Danxu. The price achieved of HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,803.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fei Danxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tour of Tao Guang Temple in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 10,445,000.00 (€ 1,211,426.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poems On Plum Blossoms von Fei Danxu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.803,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fei Danxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tour of Tao Guang Temple im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.445.000,00 (€ 1.211.426,63).
