Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Portrait of Monk Liuzhou by Fei Danxu was worth HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 239,342.47) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Fei Danxu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tour of Tao Guang Temple in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 10,445,000.00 (€ 1,211,426.63).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Portrait of Monk Liuzhou von Fei Danxu war einem Käufer im Mai letzten Jahres HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 239.342,47) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fei Danxu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tour of Tao Guang Temple im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.445.000,00 (€ 1.211.426,63).
