Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Plum Blossoms And Lady by Fei Danxu. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,606.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fei Danxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tour of Tao Guang Temple in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 10,445,000.00 (€ 1,211,426.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plum Blossoms And Lady von Fei Danxu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.606,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fei Danxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tour of Tao Guang Temple im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 10.445.000,00 (€ 1.211.426,63).
