This artwork by Fedor van Kregten achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. In the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Cows in the meadow sold for EUR 1,997.50 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fedor van Kregten; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A cow grazing in a meadow sold at auction in January 2001 with the realized price of NLG 5,875.00 (€ 2,570.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fedor van Kregten erzielte im Januar 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Cows in the meadow für EUR 1.997,50 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fedor van Kregten; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A cow grazing in a meadow im Januar 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von NLG 5.875,00 (€ 2.570,79).
