This artwork by Federico Uribe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in February 2021. In the Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art auction, the work Mujer, Centimental sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 11,597.62) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Federico Uribe; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Makeup sold at auction in May 2018 with the realized price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,280.21).
