Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Federico Uribe could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art auction, the work Bicker changed hands for USD 3,997.13 (€ 3,305.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Federico Uribe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Makeup in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,280.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Federico Uribe konnte im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Bicker für USD 3.997,13 (€ 3.305,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico Uribe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Makeup im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.280,21).
