Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Distinguished Visitor by Federico Andreotti was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. It achieved a price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,196.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Andreotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The young suitor in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Distinguished Visitor von Federico Andreotti wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.196,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The young suitor im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
