Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2009 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work The boating party by Federico Andreotti. The price achieved of GBP 42,050.00 (€ 47,334.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico Andreotti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The young suitor, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The boating party von Federico Andreotti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 42.050,00 (€ 47.334,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The young suitor beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47) versteigert wurde.
