It achieved a price of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,865.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Federico Andreotti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The young suitor in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).

Die Arbeit Reflections at dusk von Federico Andreotti wurde im Februar 2012 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.865,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The young suitor im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
