This artwork by Fede Galizia achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April 2006. In the Important Old Master Paintings, Part I auction, the work A Glass Compote With Peaches, Jasmine Flowers, Quinces And A Grasshopper sold for USD 1,640,000.00 (€ 1,299,112.80) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fede Galizia; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Crystal Fruit Stand With Peaches, Quinces, And Jasmine Flowers sold at auction in July 2015 with the realized price of GBP 1,565,000.00 (€ 2,218,644.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fede Galizia erzielte im April 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
