It achieved a price of EUR 1,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38 %. Admittedly, works by Fausto Pratella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riflessi di Luna Tra Le Barche in June 2006 with an auction result of EUR 13,640.00.

Die Arbeit Il ritorno dei pescatori von Fausto Pratella wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fausto Pratella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riflessi di Luna Tra Le Barche im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.640,00.
