Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Collecting fruits of the sea; Fishing by moonlight; and The Bay of Naples at dusk by Fausto Pratella was sold in the Nineteenth Century European Art auction at Christies in London in July 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,670.18). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fausto Pratella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Riflessi di Luna Tra Le Barche, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 13,640.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Collecting fruits of the sea; Fishing by moonlight; and The Bay of Naples at dusk von Fausto Pratella wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.670,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fausto Pratella mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Riflessi di Luna Tra Le Barche beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 13.640,00 versteigert wurde.
