Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2003 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures, which included the work Fishing boats mooring at dusk by Fausto Pratella. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,287.50 (€ 7,598.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Fausto Pratella have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2006 the work Riflessi di Luna Tra Le Barche was auctioned for EUR 13,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Orientalist Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing boats mooring at dusk von Fausto Pratella zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.287,50 (€ 7.598,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Fausto Pratella konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2006 die Arbeit Riflessi di Luna Tra Le Barche für EUR 13.640,00 versteigert.
